The sizes will be chosen in keeping with the customer’s selected style. If desired, 4 toms can also be recorded. Our selection of snare drums includes a large range of high-end studio snares (including various Yamaha, Ludwig-Supraphonic, Acrylite, BlackBeauty, Noble&Cooley and some vintage Snares). Our cymbals include a big selection of state-of-the-art series from the company Meinl.
For fans of a retro style, DrumsByRequest can offer drum-sets, snares and cymbals from legendary brands from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
For drum and percussion overdubs we can offer bongos, congas, shakers, tambourines, cymbals among others. We can also offer e-drums like the Yamaha DTXtreme III S, Roland SPDS or the Roland Handsonic HPD15 Percussion Pad.
High quality microphones are essential for a good recording! We only record using top microphones, which meet the international standards for drum recordings. These include, for example, AKG414, Neumann U-87, Sennheiser 421, Shure SM 57, Shure Beta52 A, Shure SM 91, and Yamaha Sub Kick among others.
The tracks come in 24bit Mono Wav or Aiff.
If requested, the Logic or Cubase file can also be sent to you. At an extra cost, DrumsByRequest can additionally edit your drum track using SSL-Equipment.
